The Department of English at SDA college aims towards the overall development of the students. Keeping the TEXT at the center, the students are encouraged to ask questions and find possible solutions to it, thus enhancing their critical skills. Psychology

Psychology has always been a subject full of mysteries, because only God Jesus can know the mind of a person (Jeremiah 17:9, Bible). A newly born science, psychology is the study of human and animal behavior. Not only behavior, psychology studies mind, cognitive and thought processes, perception, imagination endlessly, so on, even soul as well. Psychology took birth from philosophy, biology and spirituality

Economics

Economics is not just demand, supply and resource allocation. It goes far beyond that. Economics helps you to understand and study the world around us like people, businesses, markets and governments and enables you to think strategically to make the best decision in response to threats and opportunities that arises in the real world. Economics encompasses you with analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate alternatives and make better decisions even in day-to-day life.

Sociology

Sociology examines human social action, with an emphasis on human diversity, social inequality, and the processes that govern groups, organizations, communities, cultures, and nation-states. Our program also focuses on social categories including age, citizenship, class, family, gender, race, and religion.

Elective - Computer Applications

Mathematics is an education in numeric sciences, using a range of different approaches including algebra, calculus and basic arithmetic. While mathematics is a key element of subjects ranging from economics to physics, Maths as a university subject often focuses on understanding and testing theories in mathematical and scientific discourse or so called “pure mathematics”.

Political science focuses on the theory and practice of government and politics at the local, state, national, and international levels. We are dedicated to developing understandings of institutions, practices, and relations thatconstitute public life and modes of inquiry that promote citizenship.
Political Theory
Political theory is concerned mainly with the foundations of political community and institutions. It focuses on human nature and the moral purposes of political association. To clarify these concepts, political theorists draw on enduring political writings from ancient Greece to the present and on various writings by moral philosophers.Political theory also focuses on empirical research into the way political institutions function in practice. Here political theorists’ subject beliefs about political life found in important political writings to re-examination in the light of ongoing human behaviour.
