Department of Physics

Physics is a natural science based on experiments, measurements, and mathematical analysis with the purpose of finding quantitative physical laws for everything from the nanoworld of the microcosmos to the planets, solar systems, and galaxies that occupy the macrocosmos. The laws of nature can be used to predict the behavior of the world and all kinds of machinery. Many of the everyday technological inventions that we now take for granted resulted from discoveries in physics.

Department of Chemistry

Chemistry is the study of matter and the chemical reactions between substances. Chemistry is also the study of matter’s composition, structure, and properties. Matter is essentially anything in the world that takes up space and has mass. Chemistry is sometimes called “the central science,” because it bridges physics with other natural sciences, such as geology and biology.

Department of Mathematics

Mathematics is an education in numeric sciences, using a range of different approaches including algebra, calculus and basic arithmetic. While mathematics is a key element of subjects ranging from economics to physics, Maths as a university subject often focuses on understanding and testing theories in mathematical and scientific discourse or so called “pure mathematics”.

Department of Microbiology

Microbiology Microbiology is the study of all living organisms that are too small to be visible with the naked eye. This includes bacteria, archaea, viruses, fungi, prions, protozoa and algae, collectively known as 'microbes'. These microbes play key roles in nutrient cycling, Thanks to their versatility, microbes can be put to work in many ways: making life-saving drugs, the manufacture of biofuels, cleaning up pollution, and producing/processing food and drink.

Department of Zoology

Zoology, the branch of science, dealing with the study of animals, has been an enormous stream since ages. Zoology has been a vast area of study since ancient times. Though it has always been an important subject, the increase in scientific disciplines began in the 18th and 19th century. It enriches us with the knowledge of Animals, their habitat and adaptations, distribution all over the world, their behavior, their morphology and anatomy, and a lot more.

Computer Science

Computer Science Computer Science is the study of computers and computing, including their theoretical and practical's, hardware and software, and their uses for processing information. The discipline of CS includes the study of algorithms and data structures, computer networking, data modeling, and artificial intelligence. CS draws some of its foundations from mathematics and engineering and therefore incorporates techniques from areas such as queuing theory, probability and statistics etc.
